Selected Events in 2006
Ambassador and Mrs. Timken visit Sehitlik Mosque in Berlin-Neukölln
July 3, 2006.
Mr. Hüseyin Midik of the Turkish-Islamic Union of the Institute for Religion (DITIB) led Ambassador Timken and his wife Sue through the mosque explaining the architectural design and activities of the mosque. They were accompanied by Imam Haran Bulut and DITIB Secretary General Ali Gülcek. Afterwards, the Ambassador and his wife had an opportunity to become acquainted with members of the mosque community.
